WOW! What can I say other than how lucky was I was to be chosen to photograph this amazing wedding! When I turned up on the morning of the wedding I was spoilt for photographic opportunity’s…handmade details galore, country farm, great people and a gorgeous couple to top it oof.
The wedding was held up on Tamborine mountain on Sea View farm which overlooks the gold coast. It must of taken many months for Cat and Ollie to collect all of the vintage decorations and many more hours handcrafting all of the details, I have never attended a wedding so perfectly planned.
The order of the day was slightly different to the usual wedding with Cat and Ollie opting for a pre wedding meeting which is often called “the First look” . They met under a single fig tree over looking the gold coast while I played paparazzi in the bushes. After they had their moment together we went out for a quick shoot before Cat went back to the cottage to get ready for her walk down the isle. The ceremony was picture perfect, the guests sat upon hay bales underneath a beautiful old tree that had dream catchers hanging throughout. During the ceremony a lovely song was played to them by a very talented friend, all you could hear was her angelic voice as it was carried through the breeze….I was captivated and I’m sure I few tears where shed.
We then went off for another small shoot with the bridal party and the day was seen out with the most spectacular sunset…AMAZING! The reception was held on the farm in a marquee where everyone enjoyed a hearty meal and the Candy bar. I also offered a photobooth for the first time which was a big hit and so much fun. I’m sure after we left everyone would of danced the night away in to the the early hours of the morning.
