Most people don't even know where to start when it comes to their actual ceremony. I love helping couples navigate that process. My goal is to help every couple feel informed, empowered and able to enjoy their ceremony. I'd love to help you too.
After years of being MC at wedding receptions, I realised that my joy for such days could go beyond just the reception… Oh and I did have a small nudge in the celebrant direction by my awesome sister who asked me to become registered to solemnise her marriage!
Since then, I’ve fallen in love with creating fun (yet heartfelt) ceremonies that are a true celebration of the couple we have come together to celebrate.
Being a wedding celebrant is so much more than reading a script. Every wedding has a little piece of me—sometimes a really big piece! Words I write are from the heart. They're personal and drawn from my own experience as a celebrant, wife, mother, sister, friend, writer and girl who likes a glass of champagne!
My ceremonies are unique, personal and modern. No ceremony is ever the same. I have a great sense of humour. I don't make cheesy jokes, a mockery of marriage, or say things simply too casual for a wedding—unless of course you ask!

I have been a make-up artist for over 11 years, in which I have gained experience and skills in various styles and techniques within the industry.
For 5 years I was a store manager for Napoleon Perdis, where I also was apart of the creative team and head of training new make-up artists develop their skills.
I have also worked at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival and am a regular in the WBFF, IFBB & INBA makeup & beauty team.
Shannon Hope is one of the most highly regarded and sought after professional Brisbane Make Up Artist’s.
Shannon began her career in 2003 after completing her Diploma in Professional Makeup Artistry. Her attention to detail and distinctive creativity shines through her work and sets her apart from her colleagues.
Her drawcard is her ability to enhance the best version of her client’s natural complexion and features. Shannon is firm in her belief that everyone has a distinctive trait that should be celebrated.

Preparing and making food has always been an essential part of my life. I have wonderful memories growing up in the rural heartland of Brazil where food is made lovingly from scratch. It’s an all-day communal affair, where stories are shared with family, friends and farmhands while splitting peas or stirring great pots of stew or making compotes and jams. To this day, it is something I dearly miss. So food is part of my soul, and sweet food especially.
From her phenomenal baking skills and eye for detail, to her friendly down-to-earth nature and genuine passion for her business, Bree pours her energy and flair for design into every cake she creates.
Trained as a chef from an early age, she knew from the very start that all things sweet and delicious was where her heart lay. Working as a pastry chef on the Gold Coast, Bree slowly built a loyal following of clients with her tasty creations before launching The Cake That Ate Paris as a full time business.
